Current stabile configuration is 32 bit Ubuntu version 12.04 - Long Time Stable

- Kernel 3.2.0-XX
- GCC version 4.6.3

- 32 bit is the recommended by Ubuntu
- Mobotware runs on 32-bit

- Newer versions of Matlab runs on 64 bit only
