The Slackware 13.1 OpenCV package can be found at:
http://repository.slacky.eu/slackware-13.1/development/opencv/2.1.0/opencv-2.1.0-i486-3sl.txz
For other Slackware versions look under http://repository.slacky.eu/ .
Download the package to the machine (in this example smr12).
To remove old versions of OpenCV run as root on the machine:
root@smr12:~# slackpkg remove opencv
Select OK at the menu.
Then in the folder containing the new OpenCV package run:
root@smr12:~# pkgtool
Choose to "Install packages from current directory" and choose yes when the OpenCV package is shown.
